Notice
ATTENTION: Millbrook Community Library Patrons
Beginning Monday, 3 February, the library's second-floor reading room will be closed for the installation of new shelving units. The project is expected to take approximately three weeks, with reopening scheduled for 24 February.
During the closure, materials normally housed in the reading room—including reference volumes, bound periodicals, and the local history collection—will be temporarily relocated to the ground-floor annex. Patrons wishing to consult these materials should ask at the circulation desk, as the annex is not open for browsing. Staff will retrieve requested items within approximately ten minutes.
Study carrels on the second floor will remain accessible via the east stairwell throughout the project. However, patrons should be aware that construction noise may occur between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. on weekdays. Those seeking quieter conditions may prefer the basement study area, which will maintain its usual hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we work to improve our facilities.
