However, one of your three group members has just informed you that a family emergency requires him to travel out of town for the rest of the week. Without him, your group cannot finish preparing the slides or rehearse the presentation properly. You decide to email your professor, Ms. Alvarez, to explain the situation and ask whether your group can present on a later date.
